unstablementaly
personnally i wouldn't trust it. a friend of mine did the same thing for his 97 LGT. none turbo of course. the jdm that went in is a dog. the issues have still not been resolved. his jdm motor supposedly had 35k on it. if anything, buy a motor from a junkyard, tear it down and build that one. at least then you know what you have and don't have to deal with the maybe's my vBGarage

unstablementaly
honestly, that doesn't mean much. its how the car was driven and the engine maintained. the guy sellin it already reported issues and then said "oh, just some crap, it cleaned right out. now its 90% compression on all cylinders. i've seen 20 year old V8's with better compression numbers. but again, it's up to you to decide if its worth it. i wouldn't consider it a direct swap. i'd have a shop give it a once if not twice over first. my vBGarage
