wrx2blackGT
Hey guys, I was at work last night (subaru dealership), when a couple a Japanese gentlemen walked in, and started asking about the GT and our Spec B how long the cars have been in our market etc. Come to find out its the president of Corazon. They are currently making bodykits, exhausts, and interior pieces for the JDM market. They are actually available right through subaru dealers in japan and are listed as actual SOJ part numbers. They are looking to set up something similar here in the US. We were talking about how they can get these parts to us now, but the frieght carges on single units is absolutely insane. They are currently making a catback exhaust similar in design to the stromung, but fits perfectly into the exhaust cut outs of the rear bumper. All the body kit pieces fit directly to cars using the stock mounting points, do drilling no cutting. Obviously require the JDM bumper beam which is supplied wit the kits. They are coming back today with full catalogs. Hopefully my day wont be so crazy that I dont have time to talk to them. But it was a very interesting conversation, very nice people and seem pretty excited to try to find a way to give us some more options for our USDM cars. I will def keep posting on here with what else I find out about this. We also talked alot about trying to find a way to fit the JDM headunit and HVAC into our cars, giving us the option for other headunits. http://www.calma.co.jp/ is the website off of Mr. Nogami's business card, its of course japanese but you can find pictures of the parts to get an idea. What do you guys think about this stuff??? I will def pass along any opinions. Maybe if they find a way other manufactureres will as well?? LivNLegacy
We also talked alot about trying to find a way to fit the JDM headunit and HVAC into our cars, giving us the option for other headunits. this is my priority....but def interested in other things you mentioned....i think the kits would do well in the US If you can read this, you're following too close. S0CalGT
WRX2BlackGT, Don't let this opportunity slip away!! I'm sure many of us in this forum, and those who aren't, will definitely welcome the entrance of another company to offer more parts. Especially if they can solve the issue with the HVAC system to add aftermarket stereos. Definitely keep in touch with Mr. Nogami and see if he can bring other SOJ contracted company's here. -Fred
wrx2blackGT
I wasnt sure if they were aware of this forum, so I spoke alot of it,seeing how it IS worldwide and connects pretty much all LGT enthusiasts, as interest gets generated I will send them links and threads to show the excitement. Plus I will talk to them again today. Mr. Nogami speaks only japanese he is the president of the company, he was with another gentleman who would translate and also works for the company (he also does driving instruction for AMG a couple times a year in Vegas and LA) thoguht that was pretty cool
dv8ingvector
From what I have red they sell that only as a complete car in Japan and not just the effects...I think they would be very wise to market the effects separately in the US...I would buy that bumper today if I could. wrx2blackGT
We were talking about parts only in the US. 2 Kits one is just front and or rear bumper, other kit is front and rear bumper with skirts and fender flares. Judging by your avatar i guess you would be very interested in that bumper lol.
iguanamafia
If that worked that is a pic of the Corazon kit. very audiish The wheels make it look more TTish than anything. I think the kit looks pretty damn nice, The wheels aren't so nice.

S0CalGT
For me... just about any aftermarket front bumper (JDM Spec B, INGS, etc) that replaces our long US Spec-snouted bumper, looks good. The corazon bumper is no exception. -Fred

PhilT
The body kit market for the LGT is severly short of players over here, I hope they do start to bring stuff over, then other suppliers might get in on the act too. myUsername
I like the fender flares and how the grill is one piece with the bumper. I'm not too excited about the oversized grill where the fog lights are.
wrx2blackGT
Unfortunately the have about 10min to show up, im having my doubts. But i do have their email, and will def be sending some questions and comments. They did mention yesterday that they make the chrome metal trim pieces, that was abotu all that was said, but I will include that in an email. I would imagine small pieces like that would be a huge hit, very unique and inexpensive. Also considering our current interior dress up options are next to none. IwannaSportSedan
I am very onboard with this, and I have always loved that kit, aside from a few bits about the front bumper (flares, skirts and rear bumper look HAWT, front looks Ok.) I will support them just on principal if they start importing parts.

And the chick too!!!! hehehehe Flavio Zanetti Boston, MA I don't care for the wheels, the woman does have a very nice figure. I do like the body kit but that is because I like Audi's. C_low78
I'm skeptical at best. Anything that goes through a dealership will cost you 2 x the price. So you may get hit with the shipping cost if you do it on your own, but buying from a dealer will probably end up costing you the same thing with all the markup. Waxiboy
If it going to be "parts only" for USDM, do you think they will custom design & manufacture it for our bumpers and fenders' OEM mounts?
wrx2blackGT
Hey guys.......they didnt show up yesterday, we'll see what happens today. I think it will be difficult to get parts distibuted through US dealers. BUT ill try to be optimistic, I still think it would be easier to get a parts distributer (like pltek maybe?? ) to set something set up with them. Any vendors have any input on that? Im sure its nto as easy as it sounds but what is involved???
