RubyCJ Posted March 21, 2015 Share Posted March 21, 2015 I just installed a Kenwood DDX392 DVD Receiver in my 2010 Legacy. Works great in the garage and the way to work in the dark but on the sunny trip home I only saw a white glare. The screens were there and if I shielded the screen it all looked okay but washed out. It seems the light colored seats reflect back to the DVD screen. Has anyone had this problem and have a solution? Thanks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
fullmonte77 Posted March 22, 2015 Share Posted March 22, 2015 So you have a screen protector on it? I had the same issue on mine and the shinny screen protector was causing the glare. RubyCJ Posted March 24, 2015 Author Share Posted March 24, 2015 Double checked and the screen has a matt or flat finish on it. Tried to scratch the surface in case it was a cover but not. Thanks though. I laid a black cloth over the passenger seat and the glare almost disappeared. I just ordered some black microfiber seat covers.
