sticky power window switch

Yeah I hate that. I am going to replace mine too but it just started recently after six years of ownership.

 

Very little irritates me as an owner but basic egronomics breaking (window switches or door handles, lock switches) makes me CrAzY

Funny, I was just thinking about my switch this morning! There have been a couple of times where it's refused to work until after a few tries, too. In for a fix if anyone finds one that doesn't involve replacing the whole panel.

subscribe - let's go after 'em with our growing consensus! I keep thinking, 'did I get some friggin' candy in there??! I bet a service technician's chocolated fingers cause this...

I read this thread this morning and wasn't going to comment, although it is definitely a problem in our car, but then my wife mentioned it after work today which was a crazy coincidence, lol!

I had mine replaced under warrenty back a about 3 years ago, for the switch not working.

The new one has been doing the same thing you guy's have been talking about on/off for a year or so now.

305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD).  CHECK your oil, these cars use it.
