I've got BC BR Outback specific coilovers on mine. Handles well and the extra ground clearance gets me where I want to go on back country roads without banging anything up.

I have an OBXT. Do you know if these allow for maintaining at least the stock ride height (8.7 inches) of the Outback? After some Googlin', I see that the BC BR F-07 coilovers are only for the Outback. I suspect this means that they do, in fact, maintain stock ride height. I love the practicality of the Outback's height, especially on— and off— MN roads. I found that these have adjustable height, but not what heights they can adjust to.

I can't say for certain if it will get to stock height, but I suspect it will or come very close. My Legacy is somewhere between LGT and OB ride height. Plus, if you call and ask someone at BC Racing, I've found they're pretty helpful. They can do custom mix and match setups too. The 8K springs in the back are great for heavy loads, but not so hot for ride comfort.

Just put on some '04 Outback wheels with 225/60/16 tires. Still on stock Legacy struts (to be upgraded in the future). Hopefully Saturday I'll grab some pictures to post up here. Somewhat surprisingly they don't rub (a lot). The front tires rub under somewhat extreme cornering; the steering wheel has to be turned a full rotation. Even then it's just hitting the fender liner, so that's fine in my book. Especially considering that most often when I turn the wheel that much I'm going about 5 mph.

I should also mention that the Outback wheels that I switched to have a different offset. Stock Legacy wheels are 55 and the Outback wheels are 48.

The change in tires alone netted me about 0.49" additional ground clearance over my stock 205/55/16s. You can use the calculator here to compare different tire sizes:

Nice! Post a pic. I run 245/45/17 with zero rubbing. That tire nets me half an inch of additional clearance as well. Eventually I'd like to run 245/45/18 or, ideally 255/45/18 for another half inch or more of clearance and a better overall look to the fitment.

I'd like to get another half inch as well. Probably with 215/75/15s once I can grab some Outback springs and struts and maybe trailing arms.

Here are two 'before' pictures:

And here's a picture showing the new flushness of the tires (the mudflaps will definitely come in handy now):
