Jimblaz
just curious how many people have rally armor mudflaps and how they like them. Pictures would be appreciated. I want to protect my subies precious paint. hahah
Perrin713
Don't have Rally Armor ones but I went to Autozone and bought 4 flaps for 20$. Drilled the holes and bolted them on.

Jimblaz
are they adjustable at all?? as in how far out and down they sit??
Toneranger
I have them too and love em. Had the factory 'splash guards' before, they did nothing and actually damaged the paint behind the wheel well where dirt would get trapped. Luckily I caught it in time. The RA flaps work great, look great, and aren't designed in such a way that dirt can get trapped against your paint! __________________________________ Steve C. 2009 Legacy 2.5i Wagon Touring Package Satin White Pearl
Brock Samson
My buddy fabbed his own mudflaps out of a cheap trash cans- easy and cost fractions of what Rally Armor costs. I'm planning on doing this eventually. There's some DIY's around the net.
Connect4
Since no one else wants to put up a picture, guess I'll be the first. This is rigth after I put them on. They are dirty right now and I need to get down there and clean them.

Brock Samson
Wow those look good.... how much were they after all is said and done?
SasquachGT
$95 from the company. Anyone finding these cheaper?
Connect4
Wow those look good.... how much were they after all is said and done? I replaced the plastic screw clips with metal ones from Lowe's. I stripped couple of them and decided to get metal ones and thought the others will strip out soon due to them flapping in the wind. They scrape when I go over speed bumps and as you can see, my car sits stock. I do not remember how much I paid for them. I got them last year with the "Scoobies for Boobies" deal and got a discount. Rally Armor gave ten dollars to Breast Cancer research for every "Pink" set they sold. That is why mine are pink. Can't get them normally, I don't think. They dont get all the mist into their windshield + I got less dents, scratches, and tar stains on the sides.

aftCG
I have the urethane type on my '05 OBXT. $95? I wish. The urethane were $129, but should last forever. I like them. They're easy to install. Below my pics is a cut and paste from the DIY section of the OB forum. As for the question about being adjustable, I used up the slot travel getting them square to the world and each other. http://i1045.photobucket.com/albums/b458/flaps10/DSC03759.jpg http://i1045.photobucket.com/albums/b458/flaps10/DSC03758.jpg http://i1045.photobucket.com/albums/b458/flaps10/DSC03757.jpg http://www.subaruoutback.org/forums/99-do-yourself-illustrated-guides/7387-aftermarket-mud-flaps-05-obxt-2.html

I 5EAT Turkey Clubs
I replaced the plastic screw clips with metal ones from Lowe's. I stripped couple of them and decided to get metal ones and thought the others will strip out soon due to them flapping in the wind. They scrape when I go over speed bumps and as you can see, my car sits stock. Yes, replace the clips. After a few months, I lost 1 clip on two different flaps. They still stayed in place but I imagine after a few more months more may have come lose. They sit pretty close to the ground. They sit approx. 3" above the ground on my stock suspension. They may hit speed bumps but I wouldn't worry about that because they are a very durable. My only complaint: such a sexy gloss gets really dirty and must be cleaned often to keep a fresh look. Totally worth it though.

DrSpeed
Here are some of the Rally Armor UR's I installed on the g/f's ride. They work awesome...and we actually got them really muddy. Kept all the mud in the fenderwells and off the paint. works super good in the snow too... http://lh3.ggpht.com/_xQq-AV61sp0/S86faSSf5UI/AAAAAAAAFTM/SCUiRvuS9tU/_HAO0244-Edit.jpg http://lh6.ggpht.com/_xQq-AV61sp0/S86fZLGHVDI/AAAAAAAAFTE/Y1DmolPpRx0/_HAO0242-Edit.jpg BANNED FROM THE TIKI FORUM. DrSpeed
DrSpeed- When did you pick those up, I had a hard time finding the flaps with the blue logo when I was purchasing about 6 months ago. Yeah, they were discontinued. I ended up calling up RA to get them custom ordered/made. So, I had to wait until they made their next run of UR mudflaps, and had a custom set printed out in blue. It took a while - about 4 weeks, but I wasn't in a rush. BANNED FROM THE TIKI FORUM.
lofthouse_gt
Ah makes sense, I was diggin the blue color, but couldn't find any so just went with white. That blue goes really well with that ABP!
