brett12018
I live in Pennsylvania and I was wondering if I would be able to use a catless down pipe or if I need a catted one
nimrod685
Think it depends on your county. I dont think any catted's pass emissions with the sniffer (think some really expensive ones do), but would pass visually I believe. Theyll just plug in your car and if no cels youre good. Thats what ive got through my search. I got a buddy who works at a shop and i can pass through him. So im going catless.

blongo804
Mostly positive a cat must visually be there. I'm in Lackawanna county and that's what we do around here.

Joker1315
I have been wondering this as well. I just got my SPT intake and looking to get the SPT exhaust and probably Invidia catted down pipe (I think I'll need a cat). Any other thoughts on this or inside information? I'm in Philly. timbo7
I went catless last summer and got inspected in October and passed with no problems. My mechanic said if the CEL is off theres no problem. I live in Lehigh county but my inspection place is in Bucks.
