Sarang
Anyone seen this yet? I find it tempting since it is weighted. http://www.boombaracing.com/2015-subaru-wrx-short-shift-transmission-plate/
Zee199969
dang that part looks really nice. It says it is nearly dbl the weight of the stock piece also. My "Build"

FLlegacy
That looks better than the kartboy one...well that does it I am gonna wait even longer to see what else is gonna come out. 1 model year into the new wrx and 3 different suppliers have made a short shift adapter...WTH! Zee199969
Would be nice to know the differences, if any, in length between where it mounts to the transmission and the bushing among the 3 short shift adapters currently available My "Build"
Sarang
Would be nice to know the differences, if any, in length between where it mounts to the transmission and the bushing among the 3 short shift adapters currently available I actually have the Perrin piece sitting here waiting for me to have time to attack that roll pin again. I'm considering ordering this one and then selling the Perrin one since I like a solid shift feel, but idk. Money, you know...? I should probably just do it, I'm going to talk myself into it anyways...
FLlegacy
You really should! Or maybe the kartboy one, or both and then you can give a solid review on all three. You know for the good of the forum! And then you can also get a weighted shift knob and give a review with weighted knob vs stock for the different SSAs. BBPeik
It does look interesting. Much more similar to the factory one. Not sure if it is necessary or that much better than the perrin, but I am interested in hearing results. My someday I will be done with it thread. brandon.mol
You know... this shifter better come and visit me in the nursing home when I am old....alll the money I am sinking into it. Damn it all to hell
GotthatGT
I like it! The added weight should mean I don't have to spend even more money on a weighted shift knob and I already have the Boomba short shifter arm installed.
Noobaroo
Subscribed, even though I don't think I'm going through that install process again if I can help it...
jojorios
I still have the Perrin waiting for install, guess I'll be waiting a while longer.
Fischbach31
I have the Kartboy one on my car and only have good things to say about it! Except that pin on the install was a pain in the butt, other than that the part itself works great! Shifting is very short and crisp, you have to use a little more strength to get into gear but I have gotten use to that over the course of 2 weeks! Really wish the stock was like this to begin with
DrD123
Would be really interesting to see if this one or the Kartboy feels any different than the Perrin one... very tempting...
BBPeik
I know this may seem obvious, but has anyone thought about just modding the factory one. I was looking at my factory one last night and it seems like it would be pretty easy. Of course I had to install the perrin one to find that out. My someday I will be done with it thread. Zee199969
I think BigBopper did something with the stock one Edit: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?p=5153706 My "Build"

brandon.mol
Modding the Perrin one by welding on counter weights is also an option...
GTEASER
Modding the Perrin one by welding on counter weights is also an option... Thats what I was thinking. And I have a welder. BBPeik
That is a good idea. I just figure that funky shape of the factory one must be for a reason. It seems a shame to waste all the engineer's work. My someday I will be done with it thread.
GTEASER
One could be made in a modular fashion to tune the weight of it to an individual's own preference.
