whitelightning
Holy sh!t someone tell me why I'm replacing my cmc again!!! This is the 5th or 6th time. Originally I replaced it with a part from car quest when I couldn't get my new clutch setup to work. I changed to an ACT HD 6 puck and since I have had them fail frequently. Like 6 weeks at a time. I changed the car quest one out as warranty, switched to an advance auto after, replaced under warranty, tried an autozone, replaced under warranty. I have changed the slave out also just to be safe. All have had the forward seal tear/deteriorate. I'm lost. Is my pp too hard on em? Is the OEM the best route? Is there another option? Should I burn the car and call progressive? V8Bait
For our cars I would use OEM. They seem to last a really long time since im at 101k on mine. I have used cheap CMC's on my Mazda miata and they went within a couple months so you get what you pay for.
whitelightning
Well they started cheap at car quest. Expensive everywhere else. Is there like a secret trick to bleeding em that I don't know or something?
K2e2vin
If it's working just fine after you installed it, bleeding isn't the problem. May have to do with the quality of the part and what fluid you're using.
Max Capacity
PM BAC5.2 he's the expert on this area. I thought you knew that. Good Luck. If I recall your Spec problems ended up being a bad TOB, right ? 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). whitelightning
Never actually figured out the spec issue. I just never got it to work. I used different fluid and brands every time. I guess order the oem... see what happens. I guess we are getting a snow storm tonight. I always miss the fun

Max Capacity
I believe some of them are the pull type not push type like our's. PM BAC5.2 he'd know for sure.
