ruckus00
I have 1998 2.2 legacy with a AT. It has no power, massive hesitation. There are cel's that are out, I had them checked. They are for the maf sensor, cold idle sensor and the mas sensor. I replaced all three and still problems are there. I replaced the spark plugs and wires. Got a different ecm from a wrecking yard and did not solve it. Replaced fuel pump and fuel filter. What is left to try?
johnegg
if you still have codes, have them read again. but a maf problem can cause a lot of trouble. check the wiring at the maf sensor. when you have the codes read, get the numbers, not just the description. some codes indicate the sensor is bad, some indicate the circuit is bad. check the timing, it may have slipped a tooth. spooln30
Wow. Definitely get the data of the MAF at warm idle and 2500 rpm and post the data please. Also get the intake air temp, coolant temp and ST/LT fuel trims read outs. Here's an idea, have to taken a good look at the intake tube from the MAF sensor to the throttle body. If there's a crack or hole you will be some of those CELs and running problems.
Rideredmx38
I had a similar prob and I replaced the knock sensor it worked. My old knock sensor housing was split up the middle causing the computer to send miss fire codes to.
