Legacy Intake ?

Recommended Posts

If you're dead set on getting on intake, I'd say Cobb.

It is unnecessary like NW said, unless you're into turbo upgrades. The stock box is a good design.

Save your money for a downpipe and a stage 2 tune of some sort if you want to see a noticeable power increase. Gonna run you about $750 but it's your smartest starting point.

Ditto,

Agree, but I really like my K&N typhoon cold air intake, which I'm tuned for. But only switch from OEM to make my FMIC piping fit correctly. :)

Stock intake is good, but Im sure you can get more power with an aftermarket intake. Im not saying 50+, but maybe 10-15. I run a KS-Tech intake. Its simple and it does its job/

no. you get ~1whp. It was tested on a stage 2 setup stock intake verse a k&n on the dyno during an open source tuning session.

but it sounds so cool! i got an AEM one waiting to be put on with a bunch of other stuff. If you really want an intake get one but wait to put it on until you are ready for a tune that way you can do everything at once instead of getting multiple tunes if you are putting other "power mods" on.

OP: You can get a good quality high flow panel filter for $30-40. I have an aFe dry filter, there are also oiled versions as well (K&N, aFe, AVO).
