mazdaaspec
I have these XXR rims wrapped with BFgoodrich GForce T/A which are 255/35/18 with a 48 offset. Do I even think of putting these on or just sell them? I am affraid that this big of a tire will cause problems under the wheel well. any suggestions?http://hphotos-snc3.fbcdn.net/hs151.snc3/17840_337135939609_510674609_4767366_5583095_n.jpg http://hphotos-snc3.fbcdn.net/hs151.snc3/17840_337135924609_510674609_4767365_1167832_n.jpg http://photos-h.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs151.snc3/17840_337135959609_510674609_4767367_347723_n.jpg
JonLGT
What suspension are you running or planning on running?
quick4dr
just start rolling your fenders, pull them too i guess, and check your camber. nice tires though! rims are cool too
DrCloud
On my 08 LGT Spec B, 245/40-18s on ET48 (8" wide) wheels rubbed at stock suspension height. The 255/35s are not quite so tall, but the extra width may get you. HPH
Xenonk
it wont hurt to just put them on, drive down the street and back. I've done 255/35/18 Toyo T1-S on a 18x8 +51 wheel using Zeal V6 coilovers lowered 2.25" or so with about -2 degrees camber up front and -1.75 degrees camber in the rear.. just have to roll the fenders.. I could have put on some 265/35/18 with a +10mm offset spacer and it would have been fine.. Keefe

That's why you can cram as tall as a 26" tall tire on the Spec B, but not on the GTs stock suspension.. I think the most you can fit is a 25.4" tall tire to clear the GT spring perches. MyWifezLEGi
It will clear the stock suspension , I tried fitting 18*9 +43 w/ 255/35/18 and the rears need to be rolled
Xenonk
is that on your 2.5i or OB?? Cuz OBs have a lot of clearance.. you can run as tall as a 27.2" or 27.3" tall tire. Keefe
mazdaaspec
I have a 2.5i legacy and will be getting Megan Racing Suspension. Feel in love with them after I put them on my crx. Just using it to help the rims out. It will have the adjustable damping in the front and rear and adjustable camber in the front. should I get something for the rear end to adjust the suspension in the rear
Xenonk
you'll just need to roll the fenders a lot and make sure you get a fairly aggressive alignment with the camber to make them clear the suspension stroke or you'll end up rubbing.. wpgspecb
18x8.5 or 9 wide, at +43 with 255/35 fit with only rolling ?
mazdaaspec
the are 18x8.5 at +48 with 255/35. I only needed to roll the rear fenders and that was all. My fronts do not rub at all with these on. yes the car is ?noticablely? lower but not much.
bama16
you'll have to watch left hand turns with dips at any speed other than crawling. it'll push the wheel up into wheel well while turned and the tire will grab the fender lip and pull it down...and then start slicing up the tire.
