brittcrowell
So I had to get a new altenator last week, then the next day my A/C started making a lot of noise, then a burning smell. I had to stop on the way home from work at 11:30pm to take of the belt in a Wally World parking lot. Thank goodness I had tools in the car. Checked the junkyards around my place and they either don't have any Subarus or want to sell the whole A/C compressor assy. Anyone got an extra pulley lying around? brittcrowell
Just bought this, with all the extra stuff too. Emailed them from just the $120 compressor telling them eveything I needed and they made a custom ebay listing for me to buy everything. http://www.ebay.com/itm/390640884921 Sweet! T41CK
Also try pams auto in st. cloud MN. They will deliver and this is where I get all my subi parts
brittcrowell
Box showed up today, probably wont get around to switching it out till Thursday. Anyone know how much oil I should put in the new compressor? And how much R135a in the system? I have a gauge set so high side psi would be acceptable too. brittcrowell
Thanks, I actually found that at work with google, couldnt get there because of the filter, sent the link to my phone, and read most of it in the parking lot on my phone. Funny I can spend all the time I want on FB and YT but forums like this and that are blocked. Bad news is that they sent me a Calsonic compressor and I had the stupid DKKY/Zexxel one one. So I'm still looking, trying the car-part.com route tomorrow
monkeyposeur
Why won't the Calsonic work? That is what is on my leggy and most first gens as far as I know.
brittcrowell
It probably would work, but the connections are on the top of the DKKY and on the side of the calsonic. It would take some bending of the the hoses to make them fit. Just wasnt up for that adventure.
