discojon Posted September 10, 2014 Share Posted September 10, 2014 I'm looking for volunteers to send me their unneeded / unwanted engine / suspension brackets. I will media blast them, and powder coat them and then offer them again for exchange to others wanting the parts. Initial Donors will get Recognition in the next post for Paying it Forward! The way I envision it working is, you contact me with what bracket you want to exchange for a coated one, I'll verify that I have it and if I do I'll send it to you no charge! This will only work if you send me back your old bracket so I can continue the routine of cleaning and coating. The only cost you will incur is shipping both ways and any form of donation you may want to make (not mandatory but encouraged). All brackets will be flat black powdercoat. On my car I have already coated the TMIC support arm, battery tie down and bolts, and engine cover mount (over alternator). There are many, many uncoated brackets on the LGT engine bay and as long as it's not costing me anything, i'll donate my time and equipment. If you have a need other than bracketry, pm me. Turn Around: The turnaround time should be quick as long as I am getting returns from folks. I have a life and a full time job but I'd say no more that a couple days a most. I don't think I need vendor status since I'm not selling anything, only offering a service, but mods let me know if I do. I throw them in my recycle bin, do you want them ? If you could clean up the rusty holes, the pins came out with not much issue. Do you want them. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it.
