4snowandrally
Ok I am stuck. I have searched for this but nothing is seams to work. I am having no troubles with logging my car or using learning view, it is just reading my rom that is not working. I have ecuflash version 1.41.2483 and definitions 0.8.2b. Well this is what it says on my ecuflash. What is going on is that the read your ecu button is on. When I push the button a little screen pops up were it shows a cancel and a read button. Only the cancel button is able to be clicked on. What is going on. Here is what my ecuflash main screen says. merchgod
Your problem is that you changed the metadata directory to point to the Subaru defs only that you downloaded. The metadata directory also contains the read templates which the Subaru folder does not have. You need to follow the directions that are posted with the defs -> delete the Subaru folder in x:\openecu\ecuflash\rommetadata, unzip the current defs in the same directory. Then set your metadata directory back to x:\openecu\ecuflash\rommetadata. NOT ...\rommetadata\subaru either.
