Texus Posted April 26, 2008 Share Posted April 26, 2008 I'm gonna put in the xm radio antenna interface thing... so I need access to the antenna wire from the back of the stock radio... what is the correct way to remove the dash pieces to get to this... I just don't wanna try prying things & braking something... thanks a bunch for the help. oh, it's the basic cd radio with the cubby areas underneath... if that helps... TAS040791 Posted March 15, 2013 Share Posted March 15, 2013 1.)pull off panel around shift nob is held in by strong clips thats it 2.)remove two screws around the change holder (should be two phillips) 3.) open then push ash tray flap down too slide and remove. 4.) where you just removed ash tray get a phillips bit on a rachet and remove two phillips screws from top metal plate where the ash tray was removed from. 5.) pull on radio Bezel until clips pop out. (carefully with flat head if this is the first time removing) 6.)unplug two plugs connected to 5v cig port. 7.) remove six phillips screws from around radio holder to remove and slide assemb. out Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
