Garrett-21
went to auto zone bought a few things and put this intake on for a third of the price of cosmo or injen http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j156/garrett-21/DSCN0228-1.jpg http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j156/garrett-21/DSCN0219.jpg http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j156/garrett-21/DSCN0220.jpg http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j156/garrett-21/DSCN0221.jpg http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j156/garrett-21/DSCN0222.jpg http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j156/garrett-21/DSCN0223.jpg http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j156/garrett-21/DSCN0224.jpg http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j156/garrett-21/DSCN0225.jpg http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j156/garrett-21/DSCN0226.jpg http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j156/garrett-21/DSCN0227.jpg http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j156/garrett-21/DSCN0228.jpg http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j156/garrett-21/DSCN0213.jpg
vitaliy_08
Garrett-21, Please share more info on the intake you purchased...what's the name/brand of the intake and did you have to modify it to make it fit? Also, did you get any check engine lights yet?

Garrett-21
i went and bought a 3 inch clamp on K&N intake from Auto zone. bought one of those intake kits for like 20 bucks (the silver intake tube). cut the stock maf senser section off the stock box. put the cone filter on the intake side of the maf piece i cut out and the clamp and intake tube on the other side and presto. took about 35 min. no CEL. sounds great. runs better. if you need anymore help i can post more pictures and also post a picture of how i made a bracket to hold it in place

Garrett-21
http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j156/garrett-21/DSCN0222.jpg as you can see i didnt touch the stock box up by the throttle body. that way you dont have to mess with the pvc and all the tubing that is running into the intake box

Richard_Mtl
Garrett, Can you provide more details on what you mean by "sounds great. runs better"? Are you seeing any performance loss in low end? Did you reset your ECU? Thanks

clark687
Id fail at that. Anyone no where i can get chrome tubing anodized black. Other then spray paint, cause the one from cosmo is polish which is ugly and need to change to red couplings. so it be black tubing, red couplings, or even the other way around would look good.
