SpecBamf41
Any one know of a set that will not need drilling to mount to the car? or any set for that matter? Any experience would also be nice. BNR18g on 93oct
Moderators BarManBean Posted December 1, 2014 Moderators Share Posted December 1, 2014 What's the issue with drilling to mount? It's not hard. "Bullet-proof" your OEM TMIC! <<Buy your kit here>> Not currently in stock
MrTris
redline tuning, I think, has the strut-style mounts and they shouldn't need drilling to fit up. .
chato
redlines require holes drilled and the brackets rivet to the car. not hard to do at all, pretty clear instructions, you have to buy a rivet gun ($15 at any hardware store). just be careful not to dent the hood skin when you drill. all in all, they work awesome. really happy with them, especially for how often I'm under the hood. zactek
I have the Redlines also and very happy with them. Takes a little while to take some measurements and drill, but the result is worth it. Before the Redline kit, I bought a kit (from Siberia!!) off E-bay that was pretty beefy and was a single strut design. It took almost four months to receive and I lost all hope and got the Redline kit. After I installed the Redlines, the other kit came......Lol, I still have it if anyone's interested... Zack K.
