Bolt On hood dampers

Recommended Posts

redlines require holes drilled and the brackets rivet to the car.

not hard to do at all, pretty clear instructions, you have to buy a rivet gun ($15 at any hardware store).

just be careful not to dent the hood skin when you drill.

all in all, they work awesome. really happy with them, especially for how often I'm under the hood.

I have the Redlines also and very happy with them. Takes a little while to take some measurements and drill, but the result is worth it. Before the Redline kit, I bought a kit (from Siberia!!) off E-bay that was pretty beefy and was a single strut design. It took almost four months to receive and I lost all hope and got the Redline kit. After I installed the Redlines, the other kit came......Lol, I still have it if anyone's interested...
