Dutchman Posted July 19, 2013 Share Posted July 19, 2013 So, um, yeah. Pretty sure I'm going to need a new turbo stat. Got the good ole p0021 and p0011 codes with a nasty noise on the way home. Pretty sure it is the turbo at this point as the horrible noise it is making starts where the turbo starts to spool normally. Before even getting the codes, my gut reaction was turbo. It sucks but something that I knew was a possibility with these cars. 140,000 miles is a pretty good clip with these turbos it sounds like. I actually just purchased a remanufactured one on eBay. Place got great reviews and sells a lot of Subaru turbos. Taking it in to SUBA next Thursday. Heres hoping it's just the turbo and did not do any internal damage I'm going to have it towed over there too. Not taking any chances. Already drove it more than I wanted to get home.
