ehsnils
Get a code reader or go to a garage where they are able to read OBD-II codes. Since you are in Saudi Arabia I won't say Autozone!

quicklook2
you need to get a manual. you need to use google to search for things like this. for today here is the answer: Sorry to dig up an old thread, but... Heck YA!!!! I finally got around to resetting the ECU (or some called it the ECM): Run till operating temp is reachedWrite down all your radio settings/presetsDisconnect batteryPump break petalTry to start (drains any capacitors holding any power to clear the ECU memory)Turn off the ignition, and remove key (this makes sure the ECU won't get hit with a power surge on the next step)Connect batteryTurn on ignition (do not start engine)Pump accelerator slowly 3 or 5 times, this teaches the ECU the range of the throttle position sensor (TPS)Start engineLet idle for a bitTurn on A/C (allows the ECU learn that there is A/C installed)Reprogram your radio settings/presets i hope this helps you out. you did not say if it is running badly or any other info on vehicle like mileage , how long light was on, what else did yout try, any changes in the vehicle, etc. this would help people help you. (the alt. light did not let me know that it was not charging). the check engine light was coming on & off before I changed out the alt. now just stays on. thanks
