Yeti 08 Posted April 24, 2014 Share Posted April 24, 2014 Does anybody have any tricks for removing the passenger AVCS solenoid whiteout taking a bunch of brackets and stuff apart? I read on another post here that says to take it part way out, rotate it 90degrees counter clockwise so it clears the support bracket and pull it the rest of the way out. I tried this but it gets hung up on the lower portion of the bracket instead of the upper portion. Maybe the 05-06s have a slightly different bracket than the 08? Funny thing is it looks like subaru designed a cutout into the bracket for this exact operation, and then decided that it made the bracket too weak and tacked a piece back on. The drivers side only took about 10min. This side is being more of a pain... Any help would be greatly appreciated. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
