syber_d
I got a CEL that as you experienced guys know the P1544 is from the egt sensor saying exhaust temp high, is that right so far. Well first time it happened a week ago I didn't know what heck was wrong This site got me most of my info to start with. I parked the car for a whole day when I started it again CEL gone. Didn't get it again till yesterday and from all the info here I understand I have to get that crappy factory catted uppie out (anybody got pics of the removal process). Now my question is about that egt sensor. Is only for the protection of the cat? So me doing the 2.2k ohm resistor trick will not harm the turbo if temps get to high will it?
