samron333 Posted February 1, 2010 Share Posted February 1, 2010 Hello, new to the forum with a 98 Legacy GT, the stock stereo is making a horrible static noise when adjusting the volume and I want to take the system out of my truck and put it in this car. I have been trying to find a wiring diagram for the stock unit so I can install the connector for my aftermarket unit. I have had no luck so far, does anyone know where I can find one? SVXdc Posted February 1, 2010 Share Posted February 1, 2010 Legacy/Outback radio harness pin-out Some contact cleaner spray into the volume knob shaft might cure the problem. I am going to pull the stock system regardless of the volume issue due to my aftermarket system being newer with more features and it has an ipod adapter built in.
