I did not plasti dip the chrome. I don't really have a tutorial, It was my first time, i even messed up some places. you just have to tape it perfectly because if you tape over like the edge and when the plasti dip dries, if you pull it off the tape it'll pull and you'll see the white roof. Good thing about plasti dip is you can redo it. I might just do that. the can was like 6 bucks. so you can always do it again. I also just bought a bunch of plasti dip and the gloss

I just didn't want a big stretch for mine. just a little one. but it doesn't rub or anything.

The tape has to be pulled off before the plastidip dries. Also, if there is a small gap, like between the trim and rubber, that automatically creates a void in the plastidip and you can pull it off the rubber without pulling it off the trim, so no need to tape it off.

Youtube is great resource....use it.

Jackal8788, did you plastidip the chrome on the window trim? Do you have a tutorial??

Sorry efren, just saw this now. Yes, I did Plastidip all the window trim chrome. Basically I just did a lot of masking off of the area with newspaper. It was time consuming to cover everything but I wanted to make sure it looked good. Plastidip is easy enough to remove if you botch, but I prefer to minimize cleanup whenever possible.

Here are some random pics that I have.

I have a 2013 Subii Legacy 2013 Satin Pearl White

Forgestar 19x9.5 (offset +38) stretched 225_35 R19

H&R Racing Springs

And just yesterday I plasti dipped the roof.

Is this pic with the H&Rs or the next ones where it's sitting lower?

yeah those are the H&R springs.

Ok, what's on it when it is sitting lower? Coils? I'm looking at going H&R as well but with 245/40R19 size tire, so I will likely have less fender gap then that.

It's the stock struts this picture was the day i got them installed.

there's about a 1 1/2 inch gap. I don't think it'll rub to be honest. if i get new rims i wanna get 20's. I have 19 by 9.5 and there's no rubbing and if i were to get 20 it'd fill the gap and probably still not rub.

Thanks! Now I have a better idea of how my car will sit. She's currently stock in the suspension and wheel department, but that will change come May!

So I finally had a weekend with no baby, so I got a few things done. 1) Installed the OEM foglights and added 6K HID's. 2) Hellahorn install. 3) JCSpods triple pillar wired up. 4) Fixed passenger angel eye halo. 5) Headrest monitors installed. How's she lookin? Next up, lowering kit...and alignment

Are those the fiberglass or CF eyelids? I tried Plastidip for the eyelids to see if I liked the look, and haven't removed it yet. Was planning on eventually going to the fiberglass since most say the CF don't match the headlights very well.

I'm in Shawnee and work in KCK. Haven't seen your car running around.

I'm right off SMP and Monticello! I've never seen your either! Yes, they're carbon fiber but I painted over them OEM satin pearl. If you want to meet up one day, I have a spare set I will just give to you.

I couldnt get my eyelids to stick to the headlight using 3M double-sided tape. It seemed like the mold was warped a tiny bit and they would pop off after a few minutes.

How did you mount the eyelids? Did you do anything special? Any modifications?
