simons gt
I'm not trying to be a captain obvious here, but I havent seen any generalization for LGT 5MT hp and tq numbers yet, so here it goes: after researching all the dyno's from fellow lgt members, I found out that LGT 5MT has 196-204 hp at the wheel and 212-220 lb/ft tq at the wheel. Assume 20% power loss from AWD(I know some might disagree with this, but seeing other awd car dyno's, I have to say it's fairly accurate, and now used as a rule of thumb), we have 245-255 hp crank, 265-275 lb/ft tq at the crank. So, Legacy GT 5MT 250hp, 270lb/ft torque AP stage 1 with no mods(what I have) 275hp, 305lb/ft torque(Cobb's higher numbers, have to do with altitude and temperature) Sorry for the long post, Simon
93formula
Doesn't anybody do a coast down measurement (forget tech name) cause the dynos im use to can measure drivetrain loss. But the legacys are making a solid 250 hp and 250+ lb ft.
firedawgs
So that would make mine 300hp and 382lbs. It is like saying how much can you bench. I think flywheel numbers are not relevant. Updated my vBGarage:
