696spd
Going to installing my Koni/Rallitek set up soon and want to raise the rear since I keep a lot of stuff in my trunk. One goes between the spring and strut the other between the strut and body. Which method has the least impact on the performance and original design of the spring ? BAC5.2
Saggy butt spacer. Using an extra pad could make it so the strut bottoms out before the spring binds, which will almost certainly destroy the strut. 696spd
Thanks, the spacers are a little more money but worth it.
gone2vegas
Don't forget to get longer studs if you get the thicker spacers. I forgot the Dorman part#, but they're the wheels studs for a Chevy Metro. Whoever you buy the spacers from should have them.
suds2250
+1 on the spacers. I just put some in, after running double spring rubbers, and the ride is much better. 335HP/360Tq VF-22/1820 clone with Meth
