Shogun506 Posted November 16, 2015 Share Posted November 16, 2015 Question 1: Can you transplant an 08+ steering wheel (pictured) onto an older model Legacy? My wheel is starting to become worn. I know a lot of people use the DAMD wheel and like it but just considering other options as well for price. Merc6 Posted November 17, 2015 Share Posted November 17, 2015 I believe someone asked this and the said you had to use the airbag as well from that wheel as well. I ended up just going with a gently used 05 LL Bean Outback wheel. If the 08 is like the 05-07, the buttons have a screw hidden in the back of the frame that faces the dash and column. So I guess it is possible to transplant a wheel over. They look comfy maybe I'll look into that. Maybe I could switch the stereo over to a p204 and hook up some steering wheel controls too... Was more focused on getting it done and over with.
