Your slammed subaru legacy (2010-2012)

Love the swifts but over time they still tax the stock struts so waiting for Bilsteins.

If my ride quality with the Swifts and 20mm RSB with wider wheels had stayed the same as it was in the beginning I would have left it alone.

Car rarely hits the bump stops. However, the OEM struts/shocks can't slow the rebound of the compressed spring. More sidewall makes a difference as well. With smaller sidewalls, the ride will be more jarring.

That makes perfect sense. i'm planning on springs eventually. while stickin with a similar sidewall, however on 18x9's instead of 7.5's

The 245/40 R18s, crap tires, are harsher than the winters 225/45 on the 18x7.5 OEM rims. It's a small difference in profile height but a big difference in ride comfort. Once the Bilsteins arrive, I'll consider skinning with 245/45 R18s

I'll chime in quickly to point out that he doesn't actually have a B4. I think to simply put it, Legacy GT is like a WRX while the B4 is like the STi in the way that the B4 has extra bits and pieces over the plain jane GT. Now, I'll let someone else refine/fix this.

You are incorrect. The B4 is more the stlye of the car. It use to be similar to what you are referring to. if you go to Subaru of Japan they show a non turbo base model Subaru "legacy" as a Subaru B4. The Subaru Legacy TS is the STI version, also "the STI" is not a car, it's a model of the Impreza WRX  Its like saving you drive a Ford SVT
