Do power seats from Limited GT work in non-limited GT

I have a 2005 base GT wagon. I went with the base GT because I don't like leather seats. When i bought the car the cloth seats worked fine for me. Unfortunately I herniated a disk in my lower back (L5/S1) earlier this year and the manual seat is no longer comfortable. The power seat in my friend's 06 Limited is much more adjustable and comfortable. It's slightly taller off the floor and the rake on the base allows me to get better support under my thighs which is much better for my lower back. Before i had back problems it didn't bother me but now it does. I figure it's cheaper to switch seats than to buy a new car. So...

 

Does anyone know for sure if the Limited seats fit and will the airbags still function?

 

And does anyone know if 06 Limited seats are compatible with 05 non-limited?

I know 05 power seats fit into 05 with no power seats. If you look under your seat (non-powered) you will see the usunsed connector.

Even the 2006 2.5i with cloth interior gets power seats...in Canada anyway, not sure about US versions.

in 05 you could get limited GT or base GT. they both have heated seats but the limited are power and leather.

Not so true, I have leather but no power, and no sunroof.
