boxkita
1. I thought I saw on here that it helps with launching if you do that cause of building boost while the rpms go up. Ill try holding at a certain rpm next year. 2. I thought I did that. Atleast that was my intention. 3. I was trying to take it up to redline. How can you tell in the video what I shifted at? 4. I dont know what to say. lol 5. I guess I need more practice going thru the gears quickers. On the streets I dont normally fly thru the gears very fast like I try to do at the track. Ive only ever been there a few times and with the clutch slipping I think it definitely hurt me. I also installed a new kartboy sts when I did the clutch so next year should definitely be better. Any tips are more than welcome. So I tried to launch the wagon without bogging, much harder than I anticipated. About 4500 rpm and feathering the clutch while mashing the throttle seemed to produce the least bogging. How I figured your shift points, I watched your video about 50 times, including replaying the shifts until I could see the rpms. If you use a tactrix cable, you can log the shift points at which rpms. Shifting? practice on the street being very smooth. YOu'll have to be slow in the beginning. As you get better, you'll get faster. Build my car Boxkita Track days

(not trying to be snarky, without that .32 sec advantage, the other car would have you all the way to the 1/8 or farther) do you remember your tire pressures? Curious about running all-season tires at the dragstrip. Yeah... That's not how drag strip timing works None of the times listed include reaction time. And a .237 isn't particularly good either - I could reliably do <0.100 in my previous car. AWD is tricky to launch though, so I was focused more on that than the tree. But, for the record, it was a brand new Audi A7 3.0t. No idea if it was modded or not, but he was running 13.5-13.9 all night. Around 40psi in the tires... at least, that's what it was last time I checked about a month ago Edited November 1, 2013 by uncle humjaba

Blumpkin
All I needed was a retune you just need bigger injectors, larger fuel pump and preferably a fuel regulator, all of which I had installed before my initial pump fuel tune. I got 237kw atw (320ish hp) but that was on pump E-flex which is only E70 and still had a quarter of a tank of regular fuel in it so I recon true figure is now somewhere around 250 kw or 330ish hp...as I said tuner has the car shifting quicker so really excited to see what I can manage at the strip now! Will be going this Wednesday if the weather holds up! Rome, what r pm does your auto let you launch at with brake boosting? I only got up to 2300 before the tree went green.
