180sxqc
Hey guys, I have newly acquired a 2005 Subaru Legacy 2.5i (SOHC 5MT) and I love it.. I have a cruise control problem thought.... Here is the situation: No active CEL but there were two codes in the code history: C0106 and C0111 I have been reading alot but have not found a solution yet... So, I was expecting an ABS sensor problem (due to the CEL in the history) We plugged the computer in, my mechanic could see the four sensors running ok When I set my cruise control and it works fine, for a few seconds then fades off The next times it only holds a second or less I first thought of an ABS sensor problem but there is no light on (the ABS light) The wheel speed were pretty much the same at the 4 corners Then I thought the grounding is bad or connectors are getting a bad connexion but it's probably not the case since there is a good signal of the four ABS sensors... I thought I should ask here before taking an appointement at the dealer What do you guys think? Thanks for the help
Max Capacity
Did you goggle the codes ? P0111 is for the IAT inlet air temp. It may need a cleaning. I see you say you have a 2.5 SOHC I guess that's a 2.5i There is a fox for cruise control dropping out, you need to grind down the washer on the neutral safety switch on the tranny. I did mine once then a year later had to take more off it. It's been fine ever since. Your P0106 code is not listed here on this site. https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&channel=s&hl=en&source=hp&biw=1013&bih=601&q=p0106+subaru&oq=P0106&aq=1&aqi=g10&aql=1&gs_sm=c&gs_upl=2969l5344l0l8318l5l5l0l0l0l0l272l887l1.2.2l5l0 Oh I see it deals with the MAF sensor. Clean both IAT and MAF. I cleaned mine with a dry Q-tip a few weeks back, cleared the code and the car runs great. 180sxqc
Thanks for the info, I'll will be verifying the neutral switch The codes are ''C'' codes which are related to the chassis, and yes I have been googling everything a few times

Scooby2.5
More thin washer on the NS switch fixed mine. Do a search there is a thread about it.
Marcazi
I have the same issue. I have replaced the sensor and used a thinner washer. I am still getting some sort of chassis code... What is next?
