1stgenlegpdx
I just installed a used trans axle from same year/fwd car as mine, and am having problems getting the linkage that hooks from the lever to the tranny to connect correctly. The haynes manual doesent help in this area much and I was wondering if there is a way to adjust the length of the linkage? the place directly under the handle doesn't give enough space for it to slide on smoothly. anyone have this problem before? 1stgenlegpdx
The cable that hooks to the inhibator switch is positioned so that when I attach it, the lever (inside the car) moves to 2nd gear selection. I can't get the cable on in the correct position in any gear because it is too long (the cable). Anyone ever have this issue? did that clear anything up? 1992 Subaru legacy wagon 2.2 fwd auto 4eat if wondering
