wpgcima Posted August 8, 2012 Share Posted August 8, 2012 Kay so i decided to upgrade my bov on my bg5 gtb to the ssqv that was on my old subi, i then noticed a lot of oil in the intake so i pulled the charge pipes and found two blown vf18 and vf19 (factory) turbo's ... Great. I was wondering if i fit the vf26 and vf27 combo would i need new uppipes too? I think so just was wanting more confirmation. Ill be changing exhaust anyways so big deal if i have to! twinspinner Posted August 20, 2012 Share Posted August 20, 2012 hi mate, I just bought my 96 legacy gt twin turbo getting full service and roadworthy checks done at the mo.and am going to be doing the same upgrade so am keen to hear how it goes and if the dreaded VOD is reduced, i have and will be fitting a huge arse intercooler after roadworthy this will help a bit i thinks, plus 2.5inch pipework to get some yummy subaru sounds happening!!
