youknowit
This has been happening for a while now, If i go over a bump mainly when im turning I will a noise coming from the driver side front end of my car. Yesterday after i parked the car, I kicked the driver side tire and heard a clanging noise, kicked the passenger tire heard nothing. What might be the cause of this problem? Max Capacity
Go back and kick that right side tire....I didn't hear it. Most likely end links if the clunking noise is when it hits a crack in the driveway or parking lot. These cars are known for that. Subaru's in general. if it is, IMO do not use OEM style replacements. Use after market solid end links. They use real nut's and bolts. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it. Theride
how hard would those be to install? 5 mins per side. I use rallitek for both fronts and rears
AZP Installs
They are 5 minutes if the bolts aren't rusted. Otherwise get a good saw or cutting tool. But yes Subarus are known for endlink clunks. Rallitek, Whiteline, Kartboy, and probably a ton more companies have them. Solid endlinks are the way to go since after time the bearing or ball joints wear out and then have to be replaced again. Also make sure to torque them with weight on them. -Jake http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/91072632.jpg http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/133406601.jpg AIM: AZP Installs | E-mail: sales@azpinstalls.com | 725 Fairfield Ave | Kenilworth, NJ 07033 | 908.248.AZP1 (2971) | T-1 Certified Amsoil Dealer "Race Tested, Enthusiast Approved!"
