IDRVSLO
Along with my headlight modifications I am also wrapping exterior and interior parts. PM me if you would like any work done! Here is a few pics from recent work that I did to my car. Material varies in cost so let me know what you might like. If you have the stuff and just need it installed I can quote you a price for that too. joedirtae09
Im lookin to get my HORRIBLE wood pieces wrapped... Would this be something that could be done in an afternoon if I drove up to PA early in the morning or would I need to mail these to you?
IDRVSLO
Mailing them would probably be the easiest and would cost the least amount of money. Gas and time can be a major asset. This way we would not have to worry about rushing, taking your time with this stuff is key. Depending what parts you want done I bet we could keep shipping low. I would say it would take me no more then 24hr for turn around time. PM me and we can discuss a price. Scott G [
IDRVSLO
But if that does not work....we can figure something out. Scott G [

I have a limited so i have them beside the steering column and all the way across the glovebox and on all doors. Wanna come east about 5hrs? LOL It's not that hard to take the trim pieces off. the ones on the center console come first only held on by one screw on bottom and then clips the rest of the way. pull gently... and then all other pieces just snap off with little effort. The way to get to the screws on the center ones is to lift up on the shift boot panel from the front, and the rest will be pretty self explanatory. I couldn't however figure out how to get the little ones on the door off by the handles so i just gave up on those...

IDRVSLO
^^^This, they have plastic pins that go through holes and are connected by plastic rings that are essentially melted to the pins. I know there is a a thread on removal. [
HarryN
How long does your film last/warrantied for? I am planning a trip to PA a few times (Reading) and I might be interested in getting a couple things wrapped on the STI.

joedirtae09
^ I tried to do a search for a thread on removal and didnt have too much luck. No step by step instructions or pics. Im thinking about just applying whatever force is neccesary to remove the pieces. It doesnt really matter if the wood gets scratched, its getting covered up with the wrap. And even if some of the clips or pins break off, a little super glue will do the trick to put it back on, right?

HarryN
4 years outdoor / 12 years indoor(interior essentially) life expectancy on the 1080 Di-Noc! As in it will start peeling after those years from all the rain, snow, salt, sleet, babies, joggers, and mud? Or do you mean the color fading starts to happen? What is Di-Noc? IDRVSLO
Here breeze through this on the 3M site. It will not just start flaking off right at 4 years and that is not an exact expiration date. It would start to fade at some point but it is not an exact science. Is your car out in the sun year round? If not, you would be safe from premature wear. http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/en_US/Graphics/Scotchprint/Prod-Info/Series1080/ [

I was thinking of wrapping the bottom of the bumper in a flat black wrap and match the front bumper garnish (also known as the V-limited lip) with it. Sort of like a delete look.
