dvancleve
Howdy folks. I just installed one of the Perrin short shift adaptors on my OBXT this afternoon. I set it near the bottom, just up from the lowest/longest recommended setting (60mm). I haven't driven it yet, but from just shifting around in the driveway it seems kinda rubbery feeling and I am not sure I like it. I didn't get the bushings in yet as I need to mow the lawn (boo!) before kids get home from school, maybe that will make things better. I picked it because it is pretty cheap and doesn't lower the knob, don't want a really low shift knob. Any tips for best setup of the Perrin? Any others that don't lower the knob or at least not much? Thanks, Doug
dvancleve
Well I got the front bushings installed and adjusted the shifter to ~55mm, right in the middle of the recommended range. I have only gotten to drive it a few times, but it feels pretty good now... Doug
