planelazy Posted October 28, 2012 Share Posted October 28, 2012 I bent the bracket that the RSB bracket bolts on to while working on my car the other day (Yes, I did something stupid and put the jack in the wrong place) so now my RSB sits about 5cm higher than the other side.. now that you know how much of an idiot I am, here's my question.. do we really need RSB's? And, I have AVO RSB bracket reinforcements, does anyone think that it's strong enough to just use by itself? I was thinking about just buying a new crossmember, but that'll set me back $350 bucks, and I found two used ones, both in PA that after shipping, would cost around $300 as well... planelazy Posted November 3, 2012 Author Share Posted November 3, 2012 That was something I thought of too, was just cutting the bracket off, and using a grinder to make the surface smooth, then getting a shop to fabricate another bracket and weld it in.
