jeremy_w
05? i believe those hubs are 5x114 Its off the totalled WRX i got my rims off, so i'm not sure. my brake rotors should be here friday. i'm going to get new rear drums, and shoes next week, and hopefully make my header in a week or two. What would you suggest for cold air? The oem box seems okay. p.s how much for lightbar?
fwa2500
4 pots? you will need 17" wheels unless you have high clearance 16"s like the 5-spoke RS/JDM STi wheels
jeremy_w
i have the rims that came off the car that i may be getting the calipers off, i'm just not sure if they'll mount properly?
fwa2500
i think they should, but get the caliper brackets just incase
jeremy_w
i need WRX rotors too, or are my legacy rotors thick enough?
fwa2500
its not the thickness, its the diameter, the wrx front rotors are a good bit bigger, and the rears are also a little bigger
jeremy_w
i have rear drum brakes
fwa2500
ah, in that case you will need to do the same thing i did, swap the rear hubs. i think your best bet for those would be to get on rs25 and keep your eyes on the classifieds unless you have access to a junk yard that has subarus rear hubs, brackets, calipers (with brake line - you will need those), front brackets and calipers: http://a.imageshack.us/img707/3091/img1408m.jpg thats the full brake swap aside from the rotors and pads (there are pads still on the rear brackets in that photo, i didnt use them).....you might also have to re-build the parking brake internals like on mine, you can find all those parts on the autozone website
