Turbotechnique
I just got a 1 piece Perrin catless downpipe for my 05' LGT. the rest of my exhaust is stock so far. Can I install just the down pipe for now? Do I need to change the map on the Accessport to compensate? And does it make it louder? Thanks
scoobydoobie
Yes, you can run the DP on an otherwise stock system. You may need a 3"->2.5" exhaust reducer from fred beans to get the Perrin DP to mate with your stock mid pipe, since Perrin uses a 3" flat flange. You will need to run the stage 2 map once you change out the DP. It will sound slightly more aggressive and you will hear more turbo noises, but not much louder. fonts
Enjoy. You will see a noticeable performance difference running stage 2. Since you're running an 05 you should consider going to a catless UP as well.
