Blazin2000
I found a complete used set of 2008 Subaru Legacy spec B. Bilstein struts with matched sport springs (all OEM) with Less than 17,500 miles on them in a local classified ad. How much should I offer the guy? rs6er
Actually, your front may sit higher because of the tophats.
Blazin2000
If I put swift springs on these would the ride be close to stock with better handling?
TPLGT
Swifts are low...I have them on stockers. Rehab is for quitters.

SBT
With the Spec B top hats, your car should sit as level as it does on the OEM LGT stock structs. Adding Swifts to the Bilstein's will drop you car about 1.25" - 1.5" all the way around, once it's completely settled. I have this combination and it's taken a while to settle in and still hobby-horses too much for me. Once I get the LCA bushings and the roll-center kit in, I think this will resolve itself. - Pro amore Dei et patriam et populum -
TPLGT
how does it ride? It's tight...I think the feel is nice. Been on since Jan. and everything is fine so far. There are a few people how have said the Swifts will beat up the stock struts...maybe that will happen...OK for now. Rehab is for quitters. BoozeRS05
On bad roads Swifts aren't very forgiving, but on smooth roads the ride is great IMO... Regal05LGT
I just put the swifts on the other day paired with koni's, the ride is great, not nearly as stiff as I expected
whitetiger
bils are overrated. for fixed perch applications that wont break the bank, konis are the way to go IMO.

SBT
NW PA is home to me and I miss the green pastures and the white, black, red oaks, silver, red maples, hickory, cherry and other hardwoods, but mostly I miss the scenic beauty of the rolling hills. - Pro amore Dei et patriam et populum -
