Coil overs lowered car now tow bar is too low?

We recently got our first subie and love it.

Is it normal for an air suspension replacement with coil overs to lower the car in comparison to the original suspension?

We have noticed when using a hire trailer the trailer is on a downward angle, which is never a good thing under brake, am curious if there is any way to raise the tow ball? (perhaps a higher tow ball as its not a tongue system)

You probably will need to change to a draw bar style hitch unfortunately.
