macdarwin
hey guys, i just bought an ION Springs (yellow) from a local seller and he's got a MT on his car. I have a 5EAT and been wondering if it will fit in my car/struts. I've seen the GB thread about the ION springs and of course you have to tell the seller what kind of transmission do you have. I searched the forum with no luck, I went to Ion Performance site but there isnt any info about the springs. will MT ION springs fit into my 5EAT? How can I tell if the ION springs I bought are compatible to my 5EAT? Any Ideas? Thanks!

scoobydoobie
I'd say you should be fine. Stock springs are the same MT or AT. Your ride height may be slightly different than whats advertised. I plan on putting LGT 5MT wagon springs on my 5EAT sedan sometime soon
iON Performance
macdarwin - Physically they will fit; however with the slightly heavier front end with the 5EAT, your car will sit slightly lower in the front and will not give the exact handling we intended to provide for your specific engine/tranny/chassis combination.
