fireman2101
Wish I had a picture of it but I had 10 pressure treated 2x10x12s in the wagon. It was not very happy when I left Home Depot.
SBT
I've strapped three 4'x8' sheets of 3/4" Marine Grade plywood, 2 PresTreated 6"x6"x10' posts, twelve 2"x10"x10' and four 2'x10"x12' pieces of lumber to the roof, with all the associated lag bolts, washers, Simpson Fittings, and associated hardware, to string it all together, inside the car and driven it home. It was happy to be home, but it was strangely quiet on the way there. Yakima 56" CBS FTW. - Pro amore Dei et patriam et populum -

SBT
The Lowes guy who helped me load everything was quite amazed how it all fit and commented how stable it all was. Heaviest bits were the MG plywood - probably half the rated load right there. That shiz is heavy, folby the PT posts. - Pro amore Dei et patriam et populum -
SubOperator
Funny enough the only times I was reported spotted were when I was hauling crap from HD on roof racks (plywood, 2x4s, etc) ) 2005 LGT Wagon Limited 6 MT RBP Stage 2 - 248K 2007 B9 Tribeca Limited DGM - 258K SOLD - 2005 OB Limited 5 MT Silver - 245K SOLD - 2010 OB 6 MT Silver - 205K
fireman2101
I hauled plywood on my impreza wagon once and it was not very happy. I drove from Baltimore to Lancaster( about 2 hours) with way too much ikea furniture on the roof.

chimera
Well this is less than impressive, a crappy old IBM server from a client!. Mud is from my boots and a heap of building tools I took out a couple days ago. I use a car dog hammock folded out as a liner to protect the upholstery Great coz I just hose it off. http://www.chimera.co.nz/subaru/boot.jpg

Once again, I am so thankful for Scooby wagons. It was drizzling and than raining. I love trucks and wish I had one too, but the wagon rules them all. BoozeRS05
Moved over from another thread yesterday: -reclining chair -half dozen boxes with books, cd's, records, dvd's -bag with fishing gear -bag with photo gear -bag with soccer gear -fishing poles -skis, poles & boots -dozen pictures and paintings, and doggie gate -three rugs -hammock Bought a house 3 months ago, and the wagon has seen plenty of exercise. Plus my family has an inordinate amount of impractical cars, so I'm usually the default carrier these days. There was, however, a lot of other $hit in the back of the car. Who needs a truck, right. Edited June 23, 2013 by KCwagon
