Kodax
There is a turbo kit coming up. Maybe you can try that.
moncur_6
A Legacy GT with the turbo you want instead of a 2.5i which you have.
alexxdj1
I know but the issue is that that GT turbo is the same model year of my car which both have taken depreciation/mileage hits so a lateral move makes not a lot of sense as I doubt there is a zero mileage 09 GT sitting on bricks somewhere. I heard the dealer can do STI upgrades like suspension and possibly even turbo. I hate buying used because I know with new that I the car wasn't doing donuts in any parking lots....lol. alexxdj1
Actually the best option would have been this 08 3.0 Sti drive that was slightly used. Still unclear why Subaru would deviate from such a tight sexy car like that to produce a toyota camry like newer model.

alexxdj1
not cool. So any suggestions for upgrades to spice this car up more?
moncur_6
There are a few 2.5's around that look pretty great. As far as performance....typical stuff I guess other than turbo upgrades for obvious reasons. Exhaust, intake...do your research and you could come across some cool cars around here. alexxdj1
Will do, thx. Deff made some stereo upgrades with Subs/amp and installing an Alpine 9887 this week. I think this would be a cool sleeper and shortly a cool 2nd car.

katalyst
there is an FAQ posted in the normally aspirated section that covers the 2.5i but as for a sti or turbo swap......that's pretty much a pipe dream due to the costs and man hours required, since you'd have to swap the entire drivetrain from another car into the 2.5i chassis basically....(powerplant, transmission, diffs) as others have said, better off starting with a GT
