what
My 05 LGT has what appears to be a greasy oily substance coming from the rear subframe brace (not sure if thats what its called) that is under the rear end. It looks like its coming from the bushing on the passenger side, but I have been told that part doesnt have sealed grease filled bushings. Does anyone know 100% if that is a sealed bushing or not?? We looked at it yesterday and the oil is not coming from anywhere else. Thought it was the rear end, but there isnt a drop of oil anywhere coming from the rear end. Thanks for any help. RockyMtnGT
Bumping this up...Same problem! So I noticed a fresh grease spot on the garage floor over the weekend. My first thought was it was the rear-diff but it wasn't back far enough, so I crawled under the car to take a look- It looks like there is grease oozing out of one of the bushings in the rear-sub frame? I felt around and took pictures- it seems like everything else down there is bone dry, but I haven't heard of this before so I took some pics and was hoping to get more "expert" advice!
