major alignment problems

Recommended Posts

I had my 2006 Legacy lowered with H&R springs a little over a year ago and ever since then I have been wearing tires out like crazy.

It's always the front inside that wears out the quickest.

Before I go in tomorrow for a "strut adjustment" I wanted to know if anyone had suggestions to solving my issue.

I have heard places talk about cambers, and sway bars.

I have little experience with suspension, any help would be great!

Those springs lower the car a lot and increase negative camber as a result. It is crucial to get the car aligned after unbolting the struts. So, a new alignment will help your tire wear problem. Also, make sure to check your tire pressure. I recommend running 31 psi cold as a bare minimum. Camber is the tilt of the wheel toward or away from the centerline of the car.
