Gary Bechtold
It got me in Leander. It was mostly grape sized hail, but there was some near golf-ball sized hail. There only appears to be some minor dimples on the hood and roof. :sadbanana:
bnguyenbb6
Yeah the area like one mile from my house got hit with the same grape/ping pong ball sized hail and my house got none. It rained hard(no hail) for like 5 mins and then completely stopped. I live in North Austin. Sucks you got hit, insurance going to cover? Today was weird too, Heavy rain-> bright and sunny and 65* weather and then BAM 40* at night.
Gary Bechtold
According to insurance I have just a bit over $3700 in hail damage! It got fixed and I'm happy. Only took a few days.
Hobie
My neighbor works at Roger Beasley Audi as a mechanic. He drove home (Elgin) in his 2 month old Nissan Maxima with the front windshield broken, the rear window broken out and dimples all over his car. It wasn't totaled but a ton of work to do. The hail went to Pflugerville, also, but never made it to where I live (couple of miles west of Elgin). We just got heavy winds and rain. My car was snugly parked in the garage just in case. The power did go out from about 6-7:30pm, though. Hope your car is fixed by now. Dave
