I really like the look of the 08 and was just wondering if it's pretty much plug and play other than the grill and foglight surrounds. Scooter Posted March 25, 2010 Share Posted March 25, 2010 I looked into this, too, after I rear-ended someone and needed most of the pieces, anyway. However, my fenders were not damaged, and I didn't want to pay out-of-pocket for those, too. Possibly incomplete list of things that would need to be swapped: Bumper Skin (inc. foglamps, bezels) Grille Headlights Hood Fenders ? Bumper Foam? Piece between the Beam and the bumper skin. The '08 bumper skin may not fit correctly over the '05 foam piece, as those are usually designed to match the bumper skin. Also, the bumper beam is a different part number for the '08, but I don't think you'd want to swap that. If the '08 bumper skin doesn't fit well on the '05 foam, you'd probable want to cut the foam to fit, rather than swap - it's probably more important that it fits the beam properly. Not sure about all the electrical connections for the headlamps and foglamps. Should be the same, but I didn't get that far in my analysis. Seek first to understand, then to be understood.
