Alright, if Subaru releases the 2008 Legacy STI, are YOU trading up to it?

The ever popular rumor of the H6 twin scroll turbo and Subaru going to be pushing the STI brand "lead by" the Legacy and NOT the impreza line.

Selling the current LGT = lose too much $$ ...but the STi package might be worth it

If it's got a 6MT, I'm in.

gotta see what it ends up looking like, features, avail as wagon, etc. etc.

I will hold on to my legacy as long as it will last me. Beyond just cringing at the hit I would take on the depreciation --- i just really like it and dont want to give it up.

 

Most likely a legacy under the STi badge will be way to pricey for me anyhow.

i voted that im 2 poor. but i would never consider trading in a car unless i had to. and deffinatly not on a car this new. i plan to keep this car! but i planed on keeping my last car, that didnt happen (economy car)

 

i think what i need is 2 cars. a weekend toy/fast car, and a the other days of the week normal work/ economicel car/truck

With all the work you have already done, just swap one in, it would be cheaper I'm sure.

Depends on the price and the execution. The SpecB is a little too much of the former for too little of the latter (though what little they did do was done well).

No. I would want it if it had all the things I want for my LGT, but then its too expensive.

Although, if it comes in WRB I may have to reconsider.

probably not. my legacy's going to have just about everything i want on it soon, anyway. the legacy sti would have to be a HUGE jump up for me to seriously consider it.

If you're driving it propper, you really should see something like 8mpg

I'd buy. But with one exception. I'd only buy if I can have a WA-GONE, if not than they can keep it.

i def want to buy another legacy at this point, but i was going to wait until the 2nd year of the next new model so 09 is more likely.

Nope..... car purchases are a poor investment... and I only do it once ever 10 years or so.....

I think that would be great, and Subaru needs it too, because when a RAV4 has more ponies with its' V-6, that is not cool. Give it at least 350 hp thank you very much.

OOPs forgot, The STI leggy should not overdo the airplane silly-mess either.

With the release of the challenger and the camaro around then I think I would rather hold onto the LGT for the AWD and buy one of those on top for some RWD funnnnn.

 

Plus if they only pump an STi Legacy up to 300 HP then it woulndn't make much sense with all the work already done to mine to get it at least that fast.

 

If it were 350 Hp then you would have my attention.
