Legacy-STI Posted October 25, 2013 Share Posted October 25, 2013 So last night when I was on the highway driving around 65 on the highway I speed up to 85 to pass this big semi, And all of a sudden i noticed after like 10 second my check engine light turned on and my cruise control started to blink and car started acting up a little so I pulled over right away and turned off the car and back on to see if it would go away and then i noticed it sounded like the car was misfiring and that it had rough idle and and if you put it in first gear and try to drive it starts to shake and you can tell it lacks in horsepower!. So i got the car towed to my house and today I scanned it and got the code (P0304( Cylinder 4 Misfire detected)My car is lightly modded but it is tuned. I checked for white smoke out of my exhaust and had none? My question is what could be the problem is it gonna be really expensive ? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I believe the code can often indicate ringland or valve issues, I leakdown test can help to differentiate which is a possibility IIRC.
